This place is TERRIBLE, please dont come here. There are so many other things to do in south beach. The events they say they have, they end up being very lame or something else. Way too expensive and is not worth it at all!!! Definetly you can not compare this location with the ones in other part of the world line the ones in mexico. Service is bad, food is bad, music is bad, and the worse from all: THE PLACE IS ALWAYS EMPTY!!!!!!! no matter how big they sell the party, either it dies super early or its just lame and empty! I hope they close this location because for all the people that havent been on a señor frogs, this one will leave a bad experience for them. Go to the ones in mexico. Cheers

I totally loved it! Best service ever ....I loved the vibe...our bartender lucas was the best! This is totally my new spot for every Wednesday night. Music was the best as well ...I will recommend this place to all my friends! Keep up the great job! You'll see me there very very often!

We tried this place with a Living Social special and we were glad we did. Yes, it is touristy but it is exactly how you would expect a Senor Frog's to be - loud music, a little over the top, conga lines, waiters dancing, and trivia for free shots. We went on a Friday night and parked in the City Garage right across from the Loews Hotel on Collins. It is only 2 blocks from there, right on the corner of Espanola Way and Collins. We were immediately seated and the waiter was great, friendly and attentive. Throughout our stay there the manager came along and asked if we doing great, which we were. Buckets of 5 Beers are $20 (You have to ask which fall into this special), which really is not bad for South Beach standards (off South Beach, I tend to average around $12-$15 per bucket). My wife had a a Margarita which was pricey, $20, but seemed to get her happy. I ordered a grilled chicken and my wife Taco's, both were very good. At least 3 Bachelorette Parties came in during our stay and we had a very animated table next to us with visitors from Chicago and from New York at the other. After the drink shot trivia game, the DJ played music, followed by live music with the performers walking around and engaging the diners. We experienced good food, a fun and lively place, and excellent service. Now, in reading other reports there are complaints about this placing being loud - well, again this is Senor Frogs and should really be expected. I would be disappointed if it was not. This is definitely one of those places I will visit again from time to time, but then again I like feeling like a tourist in my own town.....I always consider myself fortunate to live in a vacation city like Miami. Now, if reports start coming stating that this place is now much more quiet - well, then it is no longer Senor Frogs! As far as prices, this is South Beach afterall.....

Having gone to the Señor Frogs in Mexico and Venezuela I was super excited to go to Señor Frogs and what better day than cinco de mayo!! Boy was I disappointed it started off with terrible service, being that my server had to stop and do a mediocre dance every like 10 minutes, then to top it off these shows were just a bunch of guys with fake instruments and two singers lip synching. They were even lip synching when they were hyping the crowd! It was so bizarre, its hard to enjoy something thats not really happening in any sense lol. The drinks barely had alcohol, tasted like juice as well as the "shots" they kept giving away for free to everyone. SUPER OVERPRICED for what it was. Obviously a tourist money catcher.. Do not recommend for locals

1 start because no stars is not allowed. Buyer be ware! Went to celebrate a birthday and purchased a Living Social deal of $25 worth $50. Was able to purchase 2 for 1 drinks and 1 yard beer and there went my $50 worth; please note this was with 1 free drink. They automatically include 18% gratuity so in the end you basically have $40 worth to spend plus tax. My group ordered about 7 yard drinks and 5 shots. The waitress was overly nice and kept pushing shots to those in the group that were on the tipsy side. I understand they are there to make money but when someone is not in their complete senses, it seems like their taking advantage. Total bill $489!!!! Yes $489!! The detailed bill did not make sense, according to the head waitress, shots were combined on the bill since some showed a cost of $20. The place is huge and hot, cheesy and DJ cuts every song off short. Would not recommend, don't waste your time or money. If you go in a group request separate tabs! Spend your time and money elsewhere!

I enjoyed myself. It is a little expensive but not too bad. I got the palm drink because of the cute souvenir bottle and I ordered tacos. The food was okay and the drinks were strong!

This spot makes the beach a. Fantastic fun time ! The servers were super into the action and the food was excellent! Can't say enough about this chain that was all fun !

BE WARNED: Shady pricing of drinks. Ordered two drinks at the bar. The girl holds the receipt while I sign the credit card receipt. There was a space for a tip. I ordered two drinks so gave a $2 tip. She then hands me the receipt that lists what we ordered. They had already included a 20% tip. So they got a $5 tip for 2 beers. Shady. Will never go back. Be careful.

I've been to a Señor Frogs in Cancun for the night life which was fun; decided to try this one only for lunch. We had a very friendly, upbeat waitress who was very attentive. The drinks are VERY expensive...a margarita cost more than my meal. I got the Cobb salad wrap and it came with fries...it was very tasty and I enjoyed it. I had asked for a side of blue cheese for my fries and got charged with extra for it. This is a tourist place, but the food was pretty good. I would rather spend my money elsewhere tho.

Wonderful experience start to finish! First, the place has a very energetic vibe from the color palette to the balloon artist. Service was fantastic and attentive with a smile. Presentation is the best! Appetizers on small skateboards, wings in a crate, fajitas on a small grill. Loved it all. Not to mention how delicious all of the food was. And so much of it. The appetizers alone could fill two adults. If my trip to Miami wasn't already jam packed we'd definitely be back.

The resurrection of Senor Frogs in this section of Collins Ave. in Miami should have been re-considered.... They took up the former digs of Jerry's Famous Deli, slapped on some very minor decor and paint and voila -- you are transplanted back to the cheesy days of Cancun and Spring Break in Fort Lauderdale. Frequented mostly by tourists, the establishment is everything to all and nothing to everyone. Feels kind of like a community center gone bad with preparations for the apocalypse. I did not try the food. I had a couple of beers and at $10 each -- they surely did not quench my thirst.

I know as tourist-y and cliché as this place may seem, this place is totally wild if you are young at heart. When we walked in it was very easy to get a table, they had tons of large groups too so its a good place to go for a birthday or celebration. in a way this place was cheesy but at least it was interactive, the live singers had on funky costumes and sang their hearts out with the customers, there was a live dj on set too. we came here while a big soccer game was on, half the place was filled with turnt up Colombians, when their home country won the whole place exploded with confetti and other shenanigans it was such a fun sight to see! the waiters were super friendly, we told them we were coming in from south beach with Fontainebleau and the hotel gave us one free drink [limited menu] and one free appetizer. we decided to get nachos and frozen margaritas along with buffalo wings. the margaritas came on quick and they were on point, after we redeemed our first free drink, every other margarita was one dollar, they also have deals on other days of the week where you can get two drinks for the price of one [limited menu though]. the loaded nachos were super tasty and very filling, that appetizer alone may actually fill you up, they put jalapenos, guac, sour cream, tons of beef and cheese. they also have their infamous souvenir cup drinks you can keep and refill, and yes you may end up with a whacky balloon on your head. during our dinner , the waiters were required to hop on stage and dance , and they looked like they had a lot of fun doing it and really do love their job, at one point they unfortunately dragged me to the stage for a sing off, I lost very quickly haha, if you win you get a free shot! speaking of shots, the shots over there are crazy strong , they come in these test tube looking thing for a few bucks, haha drink at your own risk. overall this place is fun and inexpensive, just be prepared to come here with all your energy, youll need it.

It has music. But the bar smelt like feet and the drinks are crazy overpriced and service is slow.

  • Melissa D.

This place is good for a quick bite in a upbeat party scene. We found a deal on groupon for $20 worth of food for $12 or something like that! It was worth it. We had the fish and shrimp tacos and a side of fries. The food was good. Service was good and our server gave us a free tequila shot! This place is LOUD so if you're nursing a hangover, have kids with you, or not I the mood for a lot of noise you may want to avoid this scene.

Had the chicken parm , it was just ok , chicken reminded me of school lunch but it was yummy they used Alfredo sauce which was really good service was ok the garlic bread was Texas toast which was kind of hard

If I could give zero stars I would! This service is absolutely horrible. I came here today against my wishes of the new chain restaurants to try it out and I wish I would've been at McDonald's .The entire staff is more worried about decorating the space with graffiti and or getting themselves all dressed up in costumes in the are about the customers. The air conditioning or something must be out because they have large fans inside the space trying to cool it off. The music is absolutely horrific. I ordered a blackened fish sandwich. If it wasn't for the fishy taste I would've not known the fish was there, it was a thin as the lettuce and a tomato that was on the sandwich. I would not recommend this place to anyone, even the touristy would like a T-shirt.

Such a fun place. Came here with my kids kind of late for some dessert and it was a blast. Wednesday is ladies night, which means $1 drinks. There were kids there so I aasume earlier in the day would be more family friendly. the staff is so.energetic.and happy. Love it. They dance and sing for you. Wish we came here earlier. We had to leave since it was getting a little crazy for our kids. We got the brownie a la mode. Delish!

I went here on 8/18/2015 while on vacation, I would have given five stars but when it was time for our check the machine shut down and we had to wait about 30min before it came back up....We sat at the bar and the bartender was very attentive. She definitely helped us is picking a drink since it was happy hour.We had the chicken platter appetizer it was really good. The live entertainment definitely made it cool, I love the taco station that was pretty awesome too.... Overall a really good experience from start to finish.

I came into this place tired a grump and hungry from a 4 hrs trip, and they competent changed my mood. Gabby our waitress was so interactive and made the whole experience amazing. They even gave us free shots!! At night time this place turns into an even better experience (yes, I went back the same day). If your trying to have a fun time in Miami definitely come here and enjoy a great time.

  • Melissa G.

This place is a joke. Their drinks are way over priced and for the $35 all you can drink deal you might as well buy a bottle elsewhere and drink away. Their layout is just plain weird. Looks like it was a Johnny Rockets/Family restaurant prior to being Frogs just with a whole bunch of cheesy decorations hanging everywhere. Not sure it will last too long, great location but I wouldn't recommend it!

  • Erick E.

Expensive and very weak drinks i ordered the frog's punch my girl ordered the swirl margarita couldn't taste the alcohol not even a little bit we went on a thursday night it was very slow just like the service the only thing good about this place was the DJ

This spot is probably fun if you're in town on vacation and looking for a bit of entertainment, but if you're just looking to go grab a bite of food and maybe a drink, you may consider going elsewhere. While the staff is generally very friendly and super high energy, they're all trained on the entertainment aspects as well, with random group choreographed dances and games and whatever. Kind of over the top sometimes, but entertaining to people, I'm sure. There was a dj spinning 80's and 90's music, but as an electronic producer and dj myself, I'll tell you right now that that dude was trying WAY too hard to be a rockstar in a restaurant lol. He put most of his effort into beating cheap effects to death, with filters, Flangers, beat rolls and repeats, and super bad scratching. Bro, it's the 80's and 90's, and not hip hop or dance. Just be a dj by playing the songs. Beat effects and Ricky Martin just aren't meant to be together. If anything, I was just super annoyed while trying to eat. I ordered a burger, medium rare, which was served well done. So after an as-expected wait time (they weren't slammed, but weren't dead either) it was a little frustrating to have improperly prepared food. Just to add a chuckle, there was even a pink "Med Rare" pick stuck into the bun, but wrong. It's like calling an Altima a GT-R. ;) I've worked in restaurants before in multiple roles, so I get that the food being wrong wasn't really the server's fault, but before I can say that our guy was the best part of our experience, he somehow forgot to bring ranch to the table, like, five times. Lol Also, I get it, the photographer that was running around table to table was trying to liven the experience, but the dude basically drove us nuts. I'm mid bite, and this guy comes up to put sombreros on us. Okay, cool, thanks. Now he wants to take a picture, but dude, I made up my mind 20 minutes ago that I wasn't interested in buying photos from you while you were at another table, and despite this obvious vibe I'm putting off, very intentionally, you continue. Then you show me the digital preview asking if I would "like [you] to print it out, or just let it rot in [your] camera," and I tell you to let it rot, and you come back with a print out, it really strikes me as desperate. I would expect that from a street peddler, but now you just wasted photo paper and further annoyed me. Bye. I happened to be in for dinner after shooting aerial video at the beach with my drone, which was at the time, repacked into the box and sitting in a chair across from me with my beach bag. Well, this waiter that was not mine, in passing, stopped, grabbed the box, turned it and tilted it up to look at it. Now, after a bad burger, a bad dj, and an annoying photographer, this super energetic and excited quasi-server-entertainer is pawing up $1300 of mine without permission. "Whoa cool!" And he puts the box back to the chair, and asks me questions, while slapping the box as some kind of in-speech gesture. Dude, you were about one box slap away from evoking a pretty aggressive reaction. Don't touch my shit. You're not my friend, not my waiter, I don't care. Also, bye. The prices aren't bad, but also aren't great for what seems to be, by any measurable standard, Sysco food. If you're up for eating generic items that are literally identical to what is served in many other chains of restaurants by the very same distributor, all while basking in the in-your-face "entertainment" then hey, cool, this place is for you.

If you are in Miami and want to experience a touristy nightclub.. this is it. Nice ambience for big groups of ladies celebrating birthdays, went last night and there were a few large groups of ladies celebrating birthdays/girls night out. I thought it was cool that they had a beer pong table, but both balls were lost and the fun was done. As far as the drinks, they are pretty pricey, the large drinks are $33 bucks each, and the waitresses are pretty but really bitchy and take forever to give your drink and even worse when you are trying to cash out. Overall cool atmosphere with typical Miamian stuck up females working as servers LOL

    (3)
  • Marie M.

I have been there twice and I really enjoyed it both times! The servers are really nice, the atmosphere would cheer up anyone who was having a bad day. The second time I went it was my husband birthday and they surprised us by bringing him a piece of cake and did a little show while making him blow the candle, I thought it was great, we were very entertained! The food is definitely very overpriced but it was very good, especially the shrimps!

So after all the hype, I finally checked out this spot last weekend. The yard drinks are good, the food... not so much. How do you mess up on easy bar food such as cheese dip, quesadillas, and beef sliders? Place is super cute and fun to hang at, but the food..meh.

  • Lisa P.

if you like super loud music where you can't hear your friend next to you talk then this place is for you. if you want free shots that are actually shots of juice then this place is for you. if you want to see a booty shaking contest this place is for you (on saturdays lol) if you want to see men dancing for free shots and a tshirt this place is for you. Food - not impressed. Over priced. Comes out on outrageous platters. (Mozzarella sticks came in a Croc shoe, wings came in a box of dynamite, tnt?) Service - it's way too Loud to hear the waiter/waitress. They also pull you/grab you to participate in their nonsense (dancing in a Congo line) Never. Ever. Again. Wow!

My husband and I suntaned while seeing the flying advertidrment. We were convinced & decided to give Senor Frogs visit. We walked in sat purselves in the bar tables. we noticed the fun decor & over staffed restaurant. While seeing so many employees walking around not one offered menus. After 10 minutes we walked out!!!!!

This place is a total tourist spot. I'm local and I only went here bc they ran a Groupon. It's actually a place I've wanted to check out in Cancun but glad that's out of the way. For tourist, I'm sure it's fun. Loud music, good drinks and entertainment. Food was totally gross. I got chicken enchiladas and boyfriend got the chicken burrito. There were literally SLICES of melted cheese on top of both dishes. Regardless, service was good and fast. Manager was attentive and making sure everything was ok. Food is just gross. Don't eat here. Drinks are safe.

    (2)
  • Marie D.

By far the worst Mexican food ever and drinks weren't much better. Nachos are made with cheese whiz type stuff not real cheese. The beef was gross. Overpriced and nasty!

    (1)
  • Jeniffer M.

Food was mediocre and service was terrible! The waitress gave us a piece of paper to write down the drinks we wanted because according to her it would take less time. Our waitress also couldn't split the bill in more than 2 payments and instead of telling her what items to charge into each card she made us add up the total amount we wanted to charge on each card. Definitely would only go there again for a quick drink.

    (2)
  • Daniel R.

This is a mixed bag for me. It's definitely lively and loud. I feel that the food quality is average to below average on some items and the drinks were just ok. It felt like a tourist trap. My waiter was very friendly as I feel the whole staff is. I agree with another user that said that it's like an adult Chuck E. Cheez. A lot going on so if noise level or nightlife isn't for you, you may want to sit this one out. Portions are large here.

Fun place. Took my nice year old. The music and atmosphere was fun for both of us. The food was fair...not anything I would recommend.

I stumbled in here on a Saturday afternoon for lunch, and I was pleasantly surprised. They had beat the clock specials so our drinks were just $4. My group ordered the Guacamole to start, some Chicken Quesadillas (which were served in a sink) and a burrito, the presentation & taste of everything was great! The servers were very* attentive. We had a number of different staff come by our table to see how things were going. One of the guys offered an "extra hot" hot sauce, and whoa. I do wish the margaritas were included in the beat the clock specials, since you tend to crave tequila the minute you walk in. But the drinks we ordered were just as good. I enjoyed the experience, and plan to come back, maybe in the night time to check out the party scene :)

Why? You're in Miami, why go to senior frogs?? Ever? I popped in for a minute, typical franchise joint trying to grab some share...good luck with that. Senior Frog's is like CVS...same shit, different city...except maybe if you have kids....on second thought, I wouldn't even bring my kid into that place. Try something new, like any of the other local spots in the area.

  • Yasmin B.

I only really came here because of the groupon. It was $12 and you spend $25. Not so great because the food is ridiculously expensive. I don't get why because the food was really awful. My boyfriend and I wanted to watch the basketball finals, the waiter was very very nice and tried to change one of the tv's from soccer to basketball. The music is ridiculously loud. You can't really have a conversation. I get its suppose to be a fun party place but I wasn't that in to it. I didn't understand how they took the groupon, they some how charged for 1/6 and 1/4 of the two meals. Didn't really like how they set it up.

Took my mom here the other day and both of us had a blast!!! Food is awesome! Nachos are huge and very decent price. But the best part was customer service. .. these guys make sure that you are having a good time. .. Jean Manuel and Lucas are amazing. .. thank you guys.... see you again, im coming back all the way from fort Lauderdale ;)

One of the worst chains i have been to. Beer was flat and staff hardly spoke english. And the 1 who partially spoke talked about how america is for the "fat and lazy and the people have no drive and thats why spain is so much better. If its so much better than go back!! The bill for 4 drinks was $100 and the quality of the crappy cups you keep that you pay extra money for are horrible. I would not suggest any location for this chain. The tables were nasty and sticky and the music at 3pm was sooo loud you cant hear anyone at your table.

    (1)
  • Maria C.

I've seen comments talking about the food being expensive.. But boy the drinkss are even worse... $70 for 2 drinks? Yup. They even charge you for the cup and the 18% tip is included. Server was great and the music was great as well, but I won't come back.. I had great expectations for this place but simply disappointed me. I've never had drinks this expensive and I know it's south beach but I still think it's pretty ridiculous...

    (3)
  • Angela P.

Nothing like other señor frogs I've been to. Drinks weren't good. Way over priced, 2 20oz drinks and 2 sandwiches = $70. Too much going on in the place, sensory overload and my ear drums hurt.

  • Arjin D.

There was a major rip! I came here for Tuesday tacos and first they said me a lot of taco I just want to try and tacos were not bad. They told me that if you order second taco souces are extra. If you're eating taco and if you don't have little bit tomates does that makes sense ?

Best staff and service in south beach. The staff has the best recommendations on drinks and food.very friendly.brightened up a cloudy day in Miami. Mahi was Fresh served to perfection. Come by Collins Ave and check this place out. It's a must señor !!!!

So we went for a friend's birthday and overall we had a good time. It's not just a bar with music, they do different games and challenges to interact with the crowd. HOWEVER Very overpriced. We got the strongest drinks in the house (Pimp Frogs, might as well since the prices were all more or less the same) and they were decent. It just sucks that the refills aren't much of a deal, $2-3 less than the original drink? I didn't try the food but it looked like typical bar food just served on some interesting platters (quesadillas on a sink, mozzarella sitcks in a croc shoe?), I found that pretty funny lol. My boyfriend and I got 4 drinks and our bill was about $101 (I got 2 "palm tree" sized and he got 2 the size up). Don't think it was worth that much.

Great place!! Fun to be around all these craziness! Balloon hats! Live music and Dj!!

  • Victoria S.

A real disappointment. I have been to this chain before but in Orlando which is fantastic!! However the Miami location was a real let down, everything on the menu was about $5 extra than normal, an 18% service charge was added automatically and the cocktails and food was mediocre for the price. There are many other great places to eat in Miami and this is place is NOT one of them.

I'm a local here in South Beach and guess what?! Senor Frog's opened up in the old Jerry's Deli location. Greeted at the door by a bunch of cute hostesses that were on point and made a great impression. Sean, a server was good enough to show off the restaurant and and introduced me to the General Manager Dino, who very professional and had the staff ready to party with the customers. We were sat at the bar and watched Juan do his style of "flair" which was great to watch, he also did a great job making sure our drinks were filled and customized a drink to the exact liking of my friend. Crowd had a great time! Well managed and great crew.

Very Overpriced, even with the Groupon. Security was rude. Went outside to check on my car after I was seated, security stopped me at the door and wanted to charge me to get in. He was kind of rude and confrontational as if he was trying to intimidate me. Called ahead of time to inquire about parking, told that Valet was $15 but when I got there Valet wanted to charge me $20. I went there with my girlfriend and when the check came, the bill already included the tip. Typically the tip is only included in the bill when you have large parties like 6, 8 or more. I didn't like that the tip was included in the bill, but what was most disturbing was the fact that the tip was concealed in the bill. The bill gave total and had that typical space for the tip. I noticed that the bill was too high and inquired why it was so high. I asked to see the break down and saw that 18% gratuity was included. The atmosphere lively and fun, but it seemed that they were trying to squeeze every penny out of their customers. In addition to being overpriced, they were deceptive and sneaky. Add to that a bouncer that was no taller than 5'7 and no bigger than 175 pounds acting like a prison guard and treating customers like prisoners. Also drinks are ridiculously overpriced and very weak.

  • David P.

I had a great experience. As soon as I walked in the door the host provided me with great attention. The ambience was a happy feel, felt similar to Señor Frogs Cancun. Interactive/ fun experience. Our server Brenda was well informed of the menu and had some good suggestions. Their mexican platter and nachos are a go to, not to mention the yard drinks. Our server got my girlfriend to do the conga line and play battleship it was a nice experience..

Not sure what the hype is about. Over priced, sub par Mexican food. Husband and I both ordered burritos. They looked great, but tasted weird. Chicken & rice burrito had peas and carrots in it. At first I thought maybe some veggies snuck into it, but clearly they were mixed with the rice. Staff was very friendly and there was no wait on Friday night.
